CCOM is a NATO selected, one-week course, consisted of interactive lectures and syndicate work, practical exercises with camera exposure followed by individual feedback by certified media trainers and group discussions.
Aim: The aim of the Crisis Communication Course is to provide the participants with sufficient knowledge in the area of crisis communication in order to enable them to successfully deal with the media in crisis. Participants are expected to enhance the specific skills required for effective crisis communication as well as to get familiarized with procedures and techniques that will help to better prepare themselves and their organization for the upcoming Crisis and Conflict.The course pays a special focus on practical implementation of crisis communication towards obtaining an adequate organizational approach in the event of Crisis and Conflict.
Target Audience: The main audience consists of individuals (both military and civilian) who have already acquired basic Public Affairs knowledge (preferably by completing PARC’s BPAC or equivalent thereof).
Rank Level: Military and civilian personnel within Ministries of Defence, Armed Forces or other relevant national institutions. No rank limitation for the military personnel.
