Providing well-trained and skilled Public Affairs officers is crucial for the success of any international operation. This focus was once again at the forefront of the agenda at the Public Affairs Regional Centre (PARC). From October 14 -18. 2024, PA practitioners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Norway, Slovenia, Qatar, and North Macedonia gathered to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in Public Affairs during the "PA in International Operations" course.
The course benefited from the vast expertise of both domestic and foreign subject matter experts, adding significant value and broadening participants' understanding of key topics, including social media strategies, misinformation campaigns, disinformation debunking, and the importance of trust, integrity, and respect in branding.
Designed as a platform for exchanging experiences and ideas, the course featured interactive lectures and simulation exercises that included media exposure. These activities equipped participants with essential practical experience for effectively managing media relations during international operations in a multinational context. The program also emphasized the critical need for trained and skilled communicators.
Upon completion, participants received certificates for successfully completed course.
