Strengthening Public Affairs Capacity: PARC MTT Delivers Second MilPA Course in Morocco

22.09.2025

From 15–19 September 2025, the Public Affairs Regional Centre (PARC) Mobile Training Team (MTT) – had the privilege to conduct the second iteration of the Military Public Affairs (MilPA) course for the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces in Rabat. This course was organized at the request of Morocco and supported by NATO SHAPE, continuing the cooperation we successfully started last year.

For us, being back in Morocco was more than just delivering another course – it was about deepening our partnership and sharing NATO’s collective knowledge and best practices.

Public Affairs today is a core capability for every modern military. In an era of fast-moving information, clear, credible, and timely communication is essential to build trust, counter disinformation, and maintain credibility with international partners.

Throughout the five-day course, we worked closely with Moroccan officers to provide practical training in planning, coordinating, and executing public affairs activities in national and multinational settings. Seeing their commitment and engagement was a strong reminder of why we do what we do – to help partner nations strengthen their operational effectiveness, resilience, and interoperability with NATO and other allies.

As a NATO Partnership Training and Education Centre (PTEC) and NATO-accredited Education and Training Facility, we are proud to support Morocco – an active member of NATO’s Mediterranean Dialogue – in its efforts to professionalize Public Affairs and contribute to regional security. This second course is a clear sign that our cooperation is growing stronger.
