In the period from 03-07 March 2014, the regional workshop Communication Skills and Media Training was conducted in the Public Affairs Regional Centre.
The target group for this workshop are the Public Affairs Officers from the Armed Forces and the Ministries of Defence, as well as other state institutions.
The topics of the workshop included introduction to the Basic Communication Theory, Developing and Delivering Key Messages, Basic Principles of Public Affairs, Interview with a special focus on TV Interviews, Writing a News Release and Holding a News Conference as well as a lecture on Social and New Media.
The participants in the workshop were trained at the basic level of Public Affairs and had the opportunity to acquire and improve their communication skills and obtain training to deal with the media in various circumstances.
